Life isn’t about a single moment of great triumph and attainment. It’s about the trials and errors that get you there. the blood, sweat, and tears.. the small, inconsequential things you do every day. It all matters in the end .. every step, every regret, every decision, and every affliction. All of this has strengthened you. All of this has led you to every success you’ve ever had. All of this has made you who you are today.
No matter how many times you break down, there should always be a little voice inside you that says, “NO, you’re not done yet! Get back up!” Listen to this voice. What you need to realize is, life is a journey, often difficult and sometimes incredibly cruel, but you are well equipped for it as long as you tap into your inner strength in the present, and allow it to flourish forward.
My dad emailed me this, this morning, a beautiful piece of writing/poem that touches me deeply.
I hope you can find a little help from this also.
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
