As this week seems to be full of challenges, ones that I just can’t get my head around, ones that make me feel like I’m failing, ones that are making me dealt myself and my abilities, I really need to remind myself of this.
Your mistakes and failures should be your motivation, not your excuse. Instead, place them under your feet and use them as stepping-stones.
Mistakes teach you important lessons. Every time you make one, you’re one step closer to your goal.
The only mistake that can truly hurt you is choosing to do nothing simply because you’re too scared to make a mistake.
Failure is not falling down…failure is staying down when you have the choice to get back up.
Life didn’t come with instructions. Accept that mistakes will happen.
You are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here now with the power to shape your day and your tomorrow.
Get comfortable with the feeling of being uncomfortable and then take another step.
You were not meant to sit at the edge of your comfort zone.
Not trying for fear of falling.
Not speaking your truth for fear of what others will think.
Not looking at yourself in the mirror for fear of what you might see.
Try, and then try again with all your might. Your courage will unfold as your resolve takes hold. And with each effort you make you will earn a little more confidence which you can use to acquire what no one else can give you.. Your self-respect, and the life you were meant to live.
The greatest miracle of your success in life will not be that you finished, it will be that you had the courage to begin.
It is so easy to get caught up in planning and perfecting that before you know it, you have made taking the first step a bigger deal than it is. Sometimes you just have to go ahead and take things as they come, one step at a time.
So give up the excuses and begin now. Tomorrow might never exist again…!
A bad day is just a bad day. They come and go. Choose not to make it anything more. Don’t clamp shackles to your own ankles, tomorrow is a new day and holds endless possibilities. It’s just a matter of dropping the layers of nonsense that are weighing you down.
Behind every beautiful day, there has been some kind of struggle.
you make mistakes,
You’re human, not perfect.
Think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive today.. to breathe, to think, to enjoy, and to chase the things you love.
Of course there will be sadness in your journey, but there is also lots of beauty. You must keep putting one foot in front of the other even when it hurts because like it or not, this right here is your life, your empty pages to fill with your own advantages, your own feelings, and your own memories.
Isn’t that what life’s all about?
Making the most amazing, breathtaking, beautiful memories.
If you want something, you must endure the pain of working for it. It’s that simple.
If you’re not where you want to be right now, take the time to visualize yourself in the place you want to be and take the first step in that direction. You may not be able to change your destination in a day, but you can change your direction right now.
Remember, strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you couldn’t.
No matter how much it hurts now, you have to hold your head up, grit your teeth, and keep going. In the end, consistent action speaks for itself. So focus diligently, work hard in silence, and let your success be your noise
You have everything you need within you to become the best possible version of yourself.
Believe that you can.
Believe that you’re capable of pushing harder and farther than you have before.
Believe that you’re young enough, old enough, smart enough and strong enough to achieve your goals.
Don’t let false beliefs stop you from moving beyond yourself. And certainly don’t get sidetracked by other people who are not on track. Life is too short to wait. Every new day is another chance to change your life. Every great accomplishment starts with the decision to try.
Trust that little voice inside your head that says, what if… and then go and do it.
Give yourself a fair chance. You would be surprised how often what if works. And no, you’re not obligated to win every time. You’re obligated to keep trying…to do the best you can do every day to improve upon what you learned yesterday.
When writing the story of your life, don’t let someone else hold the pen.
Make conscious choices every day that align your actions with your values and dreams. Because the way you live each day is a sentence in the story of your life.
Each day you make a choice as to whether the sentence ends with a period, a question mark, or an exclamation point.
Don’t be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams. Live the life you want to live. Be the person you want to remember years from now. Make decisions and act on them.
Make mistakes, fall and try again. Even if you fall a thousand times, at least you won’t have to wonder what could have been. At least you will know in your heart that you gave your dreams your best shot.
Each of us has a fire in our hearts burning for something. It’s our responsibility in life to find it and keep it lit.
This is your life, and it’s a short one.
Don’t let others extinguish your flame. Try what you want to try. Go where you want to go. Dream with your eyes open until you know exactly what it looks like. Then do at least one thing every day to make it a reality.
And as you strive to achieve your goals, you can count on there being some fairly substantial disappointments along the way. Don’t get discouraged, the road to your dreams may not be an easy one. Think of these disappointments as challenges.. tests of persistence and courage.
At the end of the road, more often than not, we regret what we didn’t do far more than what we did.
Through every life experience, especially those that force you to look fear and adversity in the face, you will gain strength, courage and confidence.
Stop when you must, take a deep breath…Make a pact with yourself and do the thing you once thought you couldn’t do.
Take another step, even when you feel too worn out or tired.
Find a reason to laugh even when you’re trying not to cry.
Trust yourself, even when your mind second-guesses your heart.
Dance, even when others refuse to hear the music.
Dream, even if you’re afraid of what they might bring.
Open the door of opportunity in front of you, even when you have no idea what’s behind it.
Every step and experience is what makes you the person you are now. Without this experience, you are an empty page, a blank journal, an unsung lyric.
What makes you alive is your willingness to live through today’s challenges and then hold your head up high tomorrow with hope and tenacity.
Everything changes and it can change in just a second.
Respect your life…
Appreciate your life…
People and situations are coming and going all the time, you are just waiting at the same station for the biggest play of your life.
Be productive and patient. Realise that patience is not about waiting, but the ability to keep a good attitude while working hard for what you believe in.
This is your life, and it is made up entirely of your choices. And if life only teaches you one thing, let it be that taking a passionate leap is always worth it.
Even if you have no idea where you’re going to land, be brave enough to step up to the edge of the unknown, and listen to your heart.
If you want to live a happy, fulfilling life, tie yourself to meaningful goals, not just to people and things.
Never put off or give up on something that’s important to you… not because you still have tomorrow to start or try again, but because
“You may not have tomorrow at all.”
Life is shorter than it sometimes seems. Make today count.
Take just one small step a day. Approach the start of every day with one little goal and end the day with one little word.
Don’t ever be ashamed of the scars life has left you with.
A scar means the hurt is over and the wound is closed.
It means you conquered the pain, learned a lesson, grew stronger, and moved forward.
A scar is the tattoo of a triumph. So don’t allow your scars to hold you hostage. Don’t allow them to make you live your life in fear. You can’t make the scars in your life disappear, but you can change the way you see them. You can start seeing your scars as a sign of strength and not pain. If you have no other testimony right now, you have this one.
“I’m still here trying.” Be positive, patient and persistent. The more you feel like quitting, the more there is to be gained by continuing to do all three.
Because the strongest people aren’t the people who always win, but the people who don’t give up when they lose.
