Sometimes you have to die a little on the inside in order to rise from your own ashes and believe in yourself and love yourself again.
Call it growth.
Call it finding yourself.
Call it whatever you want.
The key is to live moment to moment when times are tough, and push forward, until moments become minutes, minutes become hours… hours become days, days become weeks, weeks turn to months and time again has meaning and life becomes a reason to smile.
The process is almost like learning to walk or speak for the very first time.
It isn’t easy, but in the process we grow and we find ourselves, stronger, wiser, and possessing talents we didn’t know we had.
When we refuse to give up on ourselves, the toughest of times can lead us to new roads we never thought we would travel.

New possibilities
As I am spending way to many hours wired up to machines having my blood flushed out of me for a trail for lupus, my mind is a constant roundabout, emotions seem to be getting the better on me. I have way to much time to think and positivity isn’t my mindset no matter how hard I try for it to be.
So I decided to push my limits and try to learn and create something new. Which to my surprise is going well, I feel a little chuffed with what I have achieved so far. Considering I have never done anything like this before and if I’m honest I never saw myself doing it either.
Opening my mind to learning has saved me from many dark times. It’s given me a little bit of self-worth and made me relies that learning is what life is all about.
When you stop learning you stop living a meaningful life. This is the truth.
Life’s richness does not come from always residing within familiar and comfortable territory. It’s when you venture out, away from the familiar, that you grow stronger and more capable.
You must hold tightly to your core values while at the same time opening your heart and mind to new ideas, feelings and experiences. Your own perspective will become clearer when you look at things from different angles. Find ways to provide a healthy challenge to your current understanding of life, and you will discover and experience far more of life’s magic.
No matter how small the achievement is, someway or another it helps you grow and opens doors to new possibilities.
Extend yourself this courtesy.
Being kind to yourself in thoughts, words and actions is as important as being kind to others. Extend yourself this courtesy.
Love yourself.. your real self.
Work through your fears.. dive deep, your insecurities.. speak honestly and loudly, your anger scream into the pillow.. not into the mirror, nor the people you care about.. they don’t deserve it.
Instead of hurting yourself by hiding from your problems, help yourself grow beyond them. That’s what self-care is all about. It’s about facing the inner issues that make you believe that you are less than you are. It’s learning to see that you are already beautiful. Not because you’re blind to your shortcomings, but because you know they have to be there to balance out your strengths.
The only question is..
Good morning. Another day. Another Chance.
A dream within a dream..!
You cannot wait for the perfect time…it will never come. If you think this moment feels like the wrong time, think again. It’s just uncertainty messing with your mind.
Most of the time you must dare to jump.
Today is the first day of a new beginning…You can do as you please… Make the hours count.
You can turn your life around and be what ever you dream to be.
The only question is.. Who do you want that person to be?
Caring ? Loving ? Compassionate ? Loyal ? Hard working ? Tender ? Considerate ? Thoughtful ? Sympathetic ? Supportive ? Helpful ? Hospitable ? Charitable ?
Right now is the right time to decide.
Your greatest weapon…..
Your greatest weapon against stress and negativity is your ability to choose one thought over another. Happiness escapes from those who refuse to see the good in what they have.
When life gives you every reason to be negative, think positive. Smile, not because life has been easy, perfect, or exactly as you had anticipated, but because you choose to be happy and thankful for all the good things you do have and all the problems you know you don’t have.
Stop discrediting yourself for everything you aren’t, and start giving yourself credit for everything you ARE.
We have to learn to be our own best friends, because sometimes we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies.
Once upon a time……
Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is simply believing you’re worthy of the trip.
And you are! You are worth it.
Tattoo that right onto your brain..!
The world starts to respond when you believe that about yourself. It doesn’t always look like you thought it would, but positive shifts begin to take place when you start to recognize and acknowledge your own self-worth.
So watch your thoughts and stop any self-deprecating thoughts dead in their tracks. Remind yourself that once upon a time, in an unguarded, honest moment, you recognized yourself as a worthy friend.
BE who you are.
It’s human nature to attempt to mimic other humans you look up to…perhaps a parental figure or a celebrity. Especially when you are feeling insecure in your own skin. But attempting to be someone else will always leave you feeling empty inside.
Why?
Because what you appreciate about the people you admire is their individuality, the qualities that make them unique. To really copy them, you need to develop your own individuality, and in that way, you would actually be less like them and more like your true self.
We all have quirks and a weirdness about us. The more relaxed you become with your own differences, the more comfortable you will start to feel just being YOU.
Celebrate being different, off the beaten path, a little on the weird side, your own special creation.
If you find yourself feeling like a fish out of water, by all means find a new river to swim in. But DO NOT change who you are.. BE who you are.
Embrace it……
Surrender your worries and embrace life.
Realise that, somewhere within us all, there does exist a eternal peace. Because inner peace does not depend on external conditions.
It’s what remains when you’ve surrendered your ego and worries.
Peace can be found within you at any place and at any time. It’s always there, patiently waiting for you to turn your attention toward it.
Peace of mind arrives the moment you come to peace with what’s on your mind. It happens when you let go of the need to be anywhere but where you are, physically and emotionally.
This acceptance of the way things are creates the foundation for inner happiness.
The need for something to be different in this moment is nothing more than a worry, and worries simply lead you in circles.
Remember, the same part of you that longs for peace is the part of you that experiences peace. It is not complicated to achieve and is as close as your next thought.
You just need to embrace it.
Patiently waiting……..
Surrender your worries and embrace peace and life.
Realise that, somewhere within us all, there does exist a deeper self who is eternally at peace. Because inner peace does not depend on external conditions.
It’s what remains when you’ve surrendered your ego and worries.
Peace can be found within you at any place and at any time. It’s always there, patiently waiting for you to turn your attention toward it.

Self-respect, self-love, self-worth…
there’s a reason they all start with “self.” You can’t receive them from anyone else. Earn the respect of others by having the audacity to respect yourself.
Dare to love yourself as if you were a rainbow with pots of gold at both ends. It’s your responsibility, above all, to see your own value. And this responsibility to yourself means refusing to let others do your thinking, talking, and deciding for you.. it means learning to use your own brains and intuition to make things happen .. hence, grappling with hard work.
Appreciate what you have today.
Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.
No regrets, just lessons.
No worries, just acceptance.
No expectations, just gratitude.
Life is too short.
The story of your life has many chapters. One bad chapter doesn’t mean it’s the end.
So stop re-reading the bad one already, and turn the page.
